1) Since the Indian government has decided that it mourns the death of Former Prime Minister I. K. Gujral on 30 November, for seven days, Embassy of Japan have decided, based on consultation with and advice by the Indian government, that the "Grand Finale with Fireworks and Visuals," the closing event of the 60th anniversary of Japan-India diplomatic relations, will not take place today (1 Dec. 2012).
2) Embassy of Japan will make a decision on how to deal with the cancelled event after consultation with the relevant people and organizations.
